Perfectly balance your plate with a grain serving and 2-3 servings of veggies
✔️2 c split chickpeas ✔️1 c red lentils
✔️9 cups Water & 2 Tbsp Classic Epicure Veg broth mix.
Cook one ‘bean’ cycle in your Instant pot (30 mins) or overnight in your crock-pot.
To finish - Sauté in a frying pan in a bit of butter/oil
✔️1 lg Onion, once softened add: ✔️6 minced garlic cloves ✔️2” knob of ginger, minced
Combine with or top your bowl of Dahl.
Top with Yogurt or Drizzle with Coconut milk. Sprinkle with cilantro.
