This post was written in 2015ish. During my 2013 Hawaiian cruise I slept in and the buffet was often shut down, although luckily the omelette station was operational. I got hooked on omelettes.
Epicure's omelet maker makes it SOOO ridiculously easy and I'm eating in 2 minutes!
I keep assorted diced veg and meats, ready to go in small containers!
Diced Ham or Cooked Bacon
Diced Red Peppers
3 Onion Dip Mix or All Purpose Sea Salt (best seasoning salt ever!) or SPG
Garden fresh Eggs!
Cheese if desired, I love adding crumbled goat cheese just before eating~
Crack 2 eggs into Epicures Omelete Maker, sitting on a plate for stability. Add a splash of water or milk, whisk with a fork. Add a few Tbsp of other ingredients (not too much!) and mix in. Pop into your microwave. Takes 1min 20 seconds in mine. Can take up to 2.5 mins & too many add-ins can increase cook time. Delish served with salsa.
You can also use your omelet maker to make 'over-med' eggs, as shown below!
